Liability Claims Analyst – Public Entity – Commercial Claims experience is necessary

Our client, a governmental agency, is seeking a skilled Commercial Liability Claims adjuster on a Contract basis located in the Portland, Oregon metro area. The Liability Claims Analyst will investigate, evaluate, resolve, and manage a wide diversity of complex tort claims against the City, including police, fleet and transportation / infrastructure liability.

The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years’ experience at the senior level, ideally with public entity (Oregon or Washington) self-insured / self-administered program experience.

Requirements of the Liability Claims Analyst

· 5 or more years experience as a Commercial Claims Adjuster/Analyst/Examiner

· Riskonnect experience

· Those with Property Damage, Auto Property Damage, Bodily Injury, General Liability experience are encouraged to apply

· Understand commercial insurance underwriting, coverage and rate analysis

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to organize, prioritize and self-manage work load

· Computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office Suite, HP Content Manager, etc.

· Ability to work in a team environment, with a positive attitude and willingness to help others

· Able to work under pressure and time constraints in a fast paced environment

**Ability to work remotely due to COVID-19 restrictions; however, only OR residents will be considered.

Salary range is $60k- $80k/year plus based on experience
