Commercial Lines CSR / Account Manager

Our client is an independent insurance agency and is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their team. Responsibilities of the Account Managers Position Include:

  • Service and manage all aspects for our commercial clients
  • Maintain and continue to develop client and company business relationships
  • Work closely with agency staff and producers
  • Retain and manage all policies including excess and surplus lines of insurance
  • Promote growth of existing book through account rounding
  • Market when necessary on renewal and new business
  • Maintain the commercial clients and policies in the agency management system
  • Manage and coordinate processing of renewals, certificates of insurance, endorsements, audits, cancellations, auto ID cards, binders etc.
  • Inform, educate, and make recommendations to clients about policy coverages, changes, exclusions, and insurance coverage needs
  • Stay current with detailed knowledge of current market conditions and carrier changes
  • Maintain knowledge / understanding of technology-based tools and solutions
  • Maintain the highest level of customer service possible
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements Include:

  • 2 years of Commercial Lines Experience
  • Working knowledge of insurance coverages and services
  • Working knowledge of insurance agency management software, insurance rating software and Microsoft Office
  • Be a self-starter, creative, well organized and detailed
  • Willingness to continually upgrade knowledge and understanding of the insurance industry

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Property & Casualty License in Colorado
  • Experience using Hawksoft
